YDB – NG BURNISHER WITH DIAMOND TIP
The burnisher with a diamond tip it’s suitable for the polishing of cylindrical, conical, concave, convex, and frontal surfaces.
The process can be performed up to the shoulder. The tool is composed of three main parts: support, head, and diamond tip. The user can change the configuration of the tool as it is modular. The available shanks are: 12×12, 16×16, 20×20, 25×25, and Ø12.
The diamond tips are available with radius R0.2, R0.4, R0.8, R1.0, and R2.0 and can be mounted in eight different positions, ensuring a diamond lifespan up to eight times longer. Inside the tool head, there are Belleville springs, whose pressure can be adjusted with the provided key.
The tool head can be rotated from -105° to +105°. Working speeds reach up to 200-250 m/min, with a feed rate from 0.05 to 0.2 mm/rev. A coolant is required during the process.
